Using Technology to Improve Student Achievement

I use computers to have them play games such as green globs, Sudoku, counting cubes.

When I teach slope intercept I like to use the following website:

I also like to use funbrain as a reinforcer.  Many of my students enjoy the website even though it is aimed for younger students.

I feel by using games the students are more willing to learn concepts, and they are more likely to retain the concepts.  Students love to get on the internet and it helps to break up the monotony of lecture-worksheet.  Even I get tired of lecture-worksheet.  It is a great way to review, and  a great way to learn.
